I turned forty something today. Eu virou quarenta alguma coisa hoje. My (lovely) wife knows me well. O meu (lindo) esposa conhece-me bem.

Among several thoughtful gifts were two scrolls redeemable for full car support for a huge Alps ride anytime in the next 12 months. Dentre vários brindes foram pensadas dois pergaminhos resgatáveis para o pleno apoio a um enorme carro Alpes ride qualquer momento nos próximos 12 meses.

I still have very fond memories of Doreen’s support car services on Ventoux last year. Eu ainda tenho muito boas recordações de Doreen o apoio do carro de serviços em Ventoux no ano passado. On a hot day, fresh water bottles every few kilometres and a bum push to boot. Em um dia quente, garrafas de água doce cada poucos quilómetros e um bum empurrar para arrancar. Jealous riders were everywhere. Inveja pilotos foram em todos os lugares. And better photos than I could ever take. Fotos e melhor do que eu jamais poderia ter.

Doreen is no slouch and has successfully climbed stuff like Alpe d’Huez, Ventoux and Galibier (photo). Doreen não é slouch e com êxito escalou coisas como Alpe d'Huez, Ventoux e Galibier (foto).
