A recurring nightmare?

By • Jan 4th, 2005 • Category: Cycling

It’s late December 2005. I am getting my bike gear on. I am going out for a quick thousand km ride to try and meet my 10,000km goal. Cold sweats! I better get out there now.

61.1 km.
Beautifuly sunny day, cool and crisp – even better than yesterday. 4 Celsius. For a Tuesday, there were lots of cyclists out. On a big hill accelerated to catch a guy a little bit ahead. Blew past him only to discover he was about 60. Pretty fit.

Total distance 206.5 km Total Ascent: 2,289 metres Total Calories: 7,560
