One of the greatest days ever on a bike.
A superb day climbing in the French Alps. The plan was for two long, beautiful, but not too steep, climbs.
It’s becoming the summer of beautiful Alpine Lake / Dam rides. But this time I went another 14 kilometres past the dam.
This is one of my very favourite cycling routes. A steep, beautiful climb, surrounded by high mountains.
Perhaps the best ride of the year. Certainly the most beautiful.
Another fantastic and huge climb to an alpine dam / lake.
I love climbs to Alpine dams/lakes. And the ascent to Lac de Moiry has to be one of the hardest.
Too much fun. See post for Video.
An unbelievably steep, but absolutely stunning route.
Painful fun. 174 kilometres, 5000 metres ascent (+16000 feet), over 3 of the most famous climbs in France.
