Challex with Martin

By Will • Jan 21st, 2007 • Category: Cycling

One way to ensure motivation on a lousy looking day is to agree to ride with someone.

It looked wet and threatening this morning, but I had a planned ride with Canadian friend Martin - so no quitting. And as usual, once I was on the bike, it was more than worth the effort - even a little sun.

Good hard 65 kms on local Swiss roads with the 5km climb to Challex in France in the middle of the ride. And a Pizza in a little café at the end. Civilized.

Will is Happiest while cycling uphill. More enthusiastic than talented, his 2008 Challenge is to (again) cycle 160,000 metres of vertical ascent.
