Mardi, je me suis plaint à propos de col du Granier pas aussi bonne que prévu. Well this was the opposite. Eh bien, ce fut le contraire. What a fantastic ride. Qu'est-ce qu'un voyage fantastique.
Just north of Thonon-Les-Bains, south of Lake Geneva, turning of a busy road, suddenly there is a well-paved,tiny road with absolutely no traffic. Juste au nord de Thonon-Les-Bains, au sud du lac Léman, tournant d'un animé route, tout à coup, il est bien pavées, petite route avec absolument pas de circulation.
It hairpins up a the side of a mountain,leading to great views in all directions of mountain lakes, lake geneva,other mountains, etc. The Col is only 6 kms along the route - which starts out quite steep. But at the Col there is another 4.5 kms up to Treschauffex, and a signed viewing point. Mais au Col il est un autre 4,5 km jusqu'à Treschauffex, et la signature d'un point de vue. I descended back to the Col and down the other side to the Abondance valley. Je descendu au col et en bas l'autre côté de la vallée d'Abondance. After following a nice quiet road, I turned around back up to the Col and down to the car. Après avoir suivi une belle rue tranquille, je me suis tourné autour de retour au col et à la voiture.
