Just north of Thonon-Les-Bains, south of Lake Geneva, turning of a busy road, suddenly there is a well-paved,tiny road with absolutely no traffic. It hairpins up a the side of a mountain,leading to great views in all directions of mountain lakes, lake geneva,other mountains, etc. The Col is only 6 kms along the route - which starts out quite steep.
