Beautiful Beaufort - home of the famous cheese - is surrounded by Alps. Beautiful Beaufort - Heimat der berühmten Käse - ist umgeben von Alpen. Today I climbed the “Classic” Col du Joly. Heute habe ich kletterte der "Classic" Col du Joly.
It’sa quiet, beautiful climb through a long, “dead-end” valley. Es ist eine ruhige, schöne Aufstieg durch eine lange, "Dead-End"-Tal. The final 10 kilometres climbs out of the valley up to the Col unveiling unbelievable views of nearby Mont Blanc. The top is part of the Les Contamines ski station. Die Spitze ist Teil der Les Contamines Ski-Station. At the Col, there are literally dozens of signed hiking trails of varying degrees of difficulty. The road is a dead-end although it is possible to mountain bike up from the other side - with some pushing. Another great picture… and great climb. Ein weiteres großes Bild… und großen Steigung. I’m wondering… why the one high sock and one low? Ich wundere mich, warum… die ein hohes Socke und ein niedrig? Just a crazy observation. Just a crazy Beobachtung. Anyway, after your big ride last weekend and climbs like this one… you’ve got to feel pretty solid for Tour d’Enfer. Wie dem auch sei, nach dem großen Fahrt am letzten Wochenende und klettert wie dieser… Sie haben das Gefühl für ziemlich solide Tour d'Enfer.

Stylish eh? Stilvolle eh? It’sa compression sock - I am still having calf problems ….. Es ist ein Kompressions-Socke - ich bin immer noch Probleme mit Kalb… .. but I am too lazy to rest it ….. aber ich bin zu faul zum Ausruhen es… ..
