Today, my mother e-mailed me the photo on the left of her mother cycling with some friends. Heute, meine Mutter per E-Mail mir das Foto auf der linken Seite ihrer Mutter Radfahren mit einigen Freunden. It goes great with an old photo I already had of my grandad. Es geht gut mit einem alten Foto hatte ich schon von meiner grandad. I love these old photos. Ich liebe diese alten Fotos. Both taken sometime in the 1920’s, I believe. Beide treffen irgendwann im 1920's, glaube ich.
It seems, my grandfather was quite a racer. Es scheint, mein Großvater war ein Racer. When my mother visited in the summer she gave me a cycling medal that he had won for a 12 hour race in the 1920’s. Als meine Mutter besuchte im Sommer gab sie mir eine Medaille Radfahren, dass er gewonnen hatte für eine 12 Stunden-Rennen auf dem 1920's. Yikes, 12 hours! Yikes, 12 Stunden!
I must admit I can really can see the resemblance between my grandmother and my younger brother (honestly Jonny). Ich muss zugeben, ich kann wirklich sehen können, die Ähnlichkeit zwischen meiner Großmutter und mein jüngerer Bruder (ehrlich Jonny).

This is great! Das ist großartig! I wish I had some family photos like this. Ich wünschte, ich hatte einige Familienfotos like this. My father used to tell me about his cycling trips around Germany immediately after World War 2 but there are no pictures. Mein Vater verwendet, um mir sagen, über seine Radtouren rund um Deutschland unmittelbar nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg 2, aber es gibt keine Bilder. I have a nice picture of my grandparents sitting in an open taxi in front of the Reichstag in 1924, but it is not the same thing at all.
