Double loop Near Home

By Will • Feb 27th, 2007 • Category: Cycling

Weather has been awful lately - very windy and wet. But it was a little quieter finally. Here’s Google Earth image of today’s loop. Good views of Lake Léman (Geneva) and the mountains.

Will is Happiest while cycling uphill. More enthusiastic than talented, his 2008 Challenge is to (again) cycle 160,000 metres of vertical ascent.

  1. That’s an awesome image, I will have to experiment a bit with google earth.

I’m in Geneva March 17-23. How’s the weather? Is it worth bringing my road bike?

  2. Hi Mathias,

Yes Google Earth is great especially when combined with a bike GPS.

Of course you should bring your bike. Hard to say on weather, but in a week you will almost certainly find a few good days. It was like summer last week (back to winter this week :-) ).
