Embracing the Weather

By Will • May 13th, 2010 • Category: Cycling

The weather has been pretty lousy for the last couple of weeks.

Today, was again dark, wet, and gloomy. So we decided to get as wet and muddy as possible:

I have been fairly good at still getting rides in (including braving the indoor trainer – yekkkk), but I’ve needed to be a little more opportunistic given the nasty weather. I can’t wait for some sun and Alps cycling.

Will is Happiest while cycling uphill. More enthusiastic than talented, his 2010 Challenge is to cycle a 100 Cols (mountain passes), survive La Marmotte again, and complete at least one century a month.

  1. Way to get out there and go for it! I loved the bike park but I’m disappointed you didn’t give the half-pipe a try. :)
Really cool paths and roads… I’d love to take my cross bike out there. p.s.– Why wasn’t your Belgium domestique not wearing a helmet? Hope he doesn’t get mad that I’m asking.

  2. Donald,

If I had my way, he’d wear a helmet …..

  3. Donald, if the brakes on my bikes worked as good as Will’s (in general) I would be wearing 2 helmets. I’m only half kidding here.
