Geneva Autumn Geneva Vineyards Vineyards and snow covered Juras Geneva Vineyards

It was riding through the vineyards and quiet countryside west of Geneva that first got me passionate about cycling a few years back (long before it ever occurred to me to cycle up an Alp). :)

And when the leaves are turning and the skies are clear (like today), these rides are just perfect.

Note, the Juras are now snow covered.

Will is Happiest while cycling uphill. More enthusiastic than talented, his 2010 Challenge is to cycle a 100 Cols (mountain passes), survive La Mamrotte again, and complete at least one century a month.

  1. Oh, now I’m craving a good petite syrah… WOW… you really are spoiled… and that’s OK!
I think a ride like that would inspire anyone.
