Happy New Year!
By Will • Jan 1st, 2005 • Category: CyclingI am an avid biker. Living in Switzerland I especially enjoy biking up mountains. In fact, my favorite thing to do during the summer do is to bike up roads in ski resorts, and take the cable car or chair lft down.
As a new years resoloution I have decided to challenge my self to bike 10,000 kilometers in 2005.
44.7km - Cold! O degress celsius, but luckily no wind. My neighbour looks at me like I am a fool as I get my bike out. GPS is ready, ear warmers are on, the sun is shining, wooohoooo.
The goal is to get a good ride in so I can be lazy the rest of the day guilt-free.
44.7 kilometers on nice quiet farmer roads near home. Fairly hilly with 470 meters of net climbing. Only 9,955.3 KM to go! A fun start.
