Motivation

43.9km. I love cycling. But on days like today - dark, wet, cold, a little windy - it is just plain hard to get out the door. But whenever I do get out the door and onto my bike I am almost always glad I did. One of the main reasons for me making this challenge is to help me get off my backside when I just feel like being lazy.

Muddy ride today. The roads were too wet and slick for my road bike. Once I got a little dirty, I kept choosing paths that are undoable on my road bike- lot’s of fun. I passed very few cyclists but funnily enough quite a few people on horseback.

Will is Happiest while cycling uphill. More enthusiastic than talented, his 2008 Challenge is to (again) cycle 160,000 metres of vertical ascent.
