Natural Interval Training
By Will • Jan 6th, 2008 • Category: CyclingI have always avoided any sort of formal cycling training. I just have little desire to do the sort of regimented sessions that I read about in training books.
Luckily, around Geneva the hilly roads are perfect for interval training.
Today, Martin and I did a typical two hour ride through the country side and vineyards on nice quiet roads. The road is rarely flat with several steep climbs of varying lengths. For a good interval circuit it’s just a question of attacking each hill and relaxing in between.

Ahhh, to be in Switzerland! I could ride while my wife and sons run up and down the hills and sing!
It does sound like a great training ride. Hope the diet is going well. I need to buckle down… maybe I should give myself a challenge like you have.
