At the turn, I told Eric it would be impossible to reach and totally covered in snow. Au début, j'ai dit à Eric, il serait impossible à atteindre et totalement couverts dans la neige.

He gave me a half-smile. Il m'a donné un demi-sourire. I knew we were going up. Je savais que nous allions.

At about 1,250 meters (4200 feet) the paved road ended and I ran into snow. À environ 1250 mètres (4200 pieds) de la route pavée terminée et j'ai couru dans la neige. I wasn’t sure where the actual Col was and I hate to climb a Col and not find the sign at the top Je n'étais pas certain de savoir où le col était et je déteste à monter un col et ne pas trouver le signe en haut

So I decided to continue climbing the gravel path through the snow. J'ai donc décidé de continuer l'ascension du chemin de gravier dans la neige.
