I had hoped to cycle up the Jaunpass during the Tour de Romandie a couple of weeks ago, but the climb was canceled due to snow(!) up high.

A beautiful but challenging mountain bike route above Gruyere.

And once finished – starving, Barry and I ordered all-you-can-eat authentic alpine soup from the local chalet restaurant. Barry even offered to cook. Delicious!

Freshly returned from Wales, I was up at 5:00 am to pick up Martin and Barry and head to Gruyere, Switzerland for the 125 km Gruyere Cycling Tour.
