Freshly returned from Wales, I was up at 5:00 am to pick up Martin and Barry and head to Gruyere, Switzerland for the 125 km Gruyere Cycling Tour. We had planned to drive to the french alps and climb the famous Col de Galibier, but a small bout of insomnia made me reconsider. Teníamos previsto para conducir a los Alpes y francés escalar el famoso Col de Galibier, sino un pequeño episodio de insomnio me hizo reconsiderar. Instead I did a terrific ride from the beautiful ,medievil town of gruyère, past the posh ski resort of Gstaad and then up the Col du Pillon.
