The Great Cycle Chat Jersey Relay

By Will • Mar 16th, 2008 • Category: Climbs, Cycling

This morning it was raining, very windy, and cold. So I sat by the phone waiting for Keith to cancel.

But he is Scottish not Australian, so canceling never crossed his mind.

Col des Pitons - Cycling (and pushing)

By Will • Feb 22nd, 2008 • Category: Climbs, Cycling

I have the good fortune to live part way up a mountain. Le Saleve is the massif to the Southwest of Geneva on the edge of the French Alps. From my house there are several great, quiet routes to the top. Up top you can ride the length of the massif for […]

Le Saleve with Barry

By Will • Jun 16th, 2007 • Category: Climbs, Cycling

Perfect. A beautiful, sunny, crisp day. I am weaker than Barry on the hills, so hard work trying to keep up on this occasionally steep climb above Geneva.
Coffee and Blueberry pie up top and then down via the treacherously steep route through Collonges.
