There are endless cycling trails around the Geneva area. It’s just a question of knowing them. Today, Doreen and I did a beautiful leisurely 2 hour ride on various paths just west of the city. The perfect weather continues.
About 5 kms from home is the lovely Chartreuse de Pomiers. Founded in 1170 by the Count of Geneve, the only thing remaining from the original estate is the “gate” in the photo.

Le Mole is a disctinctive, solitary mountain about 30 kilometres from us on the way to Mont Blanc.
