Two absolutely stunning climbs – more examples that there are so many rides better than the more famous Verbier in this region.
I had an absolute blast watching the Critérium du Dauphiné prologue in Grenoble today.
In the colder months in Geneva it is often dark, grey, and overcast. Miserable. But often if you cycle high enough, you can get above the clouds, into glorious sunshine.

You know it’s a difficult loop when Col de Joux Plane is the easy climb.
Every time I have cycled Galibier, I have eyed a nearby old military road full of hairpins.
