What a great Bastille Day. ¡Qué gran Día de la Bastilla. Doreen and I cycled up the Doreen y yo en bicicleta hasta la Col de la Colombiere Col de La Colombiere to watch the Tour de France. para ver el Tour de Francia. People and cyclists everywhere and hot! La gente y los ciclistas de todo el mundo y caliente!
We rode up with Brian - his first week in Geneva and already cycling mountains. Nos montaron con Brian - su primera semana en Ginebra y en bicicleta ya las montañas. Martin and Barry took the train from Geneva and bravely rode all the way home. Martin y Barry tomó el tren de Ginebra y valientemente cabalgó todo el camino a casa. Scott - from New Zealand rode from Lake Annecy on the other side - and somehow we all met up and hung out exactly one km from the top. A major highlight, Brian took off with a bag and somehow returned with 10 beers from way down below. It took about 30 minutes for them all to pass - wow were some of them suffering - they were strung out all over the road.
