Above Vesancey: Use a mountain bike an you can extend the trail at the top.

There are lots of great climbs in the Juras over-looking lake Geneva.  Most people have heard of the Col de la Faucille, but this route usually has too much traffic including lots of trucks taking a shortcut to Dijon.

The route at right is on a tiny forest road starting at the church in Vesancey.  Very steep to start.  You probably won't see a car the entire ride.

A little east is another great climb up to the Dole.
