Below is a picture of yesterday’s ride that gives a feel for the terrain around Geneva. My route is the blue line. The last bit got cut off but I live roughly at the top right part of the line. My ride was a big loop around Montagne de Vuache in France. The yellow line is the French Swiss border. Top right is the edge of Lake Geneva. The big mountains at the left top are the Jura mountains. You can’t see the Alps – they’re off to the right. This was made using my GPS and a cool new program owned by google at www.keyhole.com.
