The other weekend Doreen and I went to Val d’Isère to cycle Col de l’Iseran the highest paved mountain pass in Europe – and definitely one of the most beautiful.
I take LOTS of photos while cycling. And occasionally I even take a good photo or two.
But when riding in Cyclosportives or along famous climbs there are often professional photographers along the route. Need help posing?
I find that making myself a map showing all the great climbs in an area is extremely motivating.
Especially since it reminds me all the climbs that I have never done.
Col de Portet d’Aspet is the descent where Fabio Casartelli tragically crashed and died during the 1995 Tour de France. This is the monument to his memory.
