I often get asked if I only cycle up mountains.
No, I have always done lots of local rides. But for the last several years I have tried to only blog stuff that might be of interest to others. But last weekend, I had one of the most enjoyable rides in a long time — and it was quite flat. 🙂
The Eighth Great Ride of the Year
It was my second ride of the weekend with Doreen as she begins training for her summer assault of the Sella Ronda. And it was the first ride in more than a year with long-time cycling friends Eric and Katy. A beautiful, sunny day riding on quiet Geneva country roads with the only goal: A bakery stop at the end.
A relaxing, social ride with old friends. Not bad.
