Driving home from Col de l’Iseran I decided to nip up this somewhat remarkable little road.
Starting from Moutiers, this road just goes up. It’s not famous, or touristy, or particularly spectacular. It just goes up. The Col is at 1450 metres. I certainly found it, but there was no sign to be found. The road continues above the Col for three more steep kms before become a gravel path.
I didn’t take many photos, but have somehow misplaced all but this one taken on my iPhone. A couple of kms below the Col, the route becomes a narrow, private road. No worries, no traffic.
I really enjoyed this steep, very quiet, unheralded climb.
