What is 38 kms long and has more than 1,000 metres of climb? The most obvious loop from our new house. A great climb up to the Saleve mountain behind our house leads to views of the french alps. The descent is down a terrible stretch of 5 kms averaging something like 13%. I shake thinking of doing the loop in the other direction.
