January Photos

I think people read this blog mainly for ride ideas. But hopefully for the photos too.

January was a fairly successful month of riding as my health continues to improve. Lots of local rides from home. A few favourite photos.

Mont Blanc viewed from the top of my local mountain, Mont Salève
Lake Annecy roughly 20 kilometres away
Alps to the left (Le Semnoz). Juras to the right (Grand Colombier)

7 Celsius above the clouds, -1 Celsius below the clouds
Mont Sion peeking above the clouds
A kilometre from home. But home is down in the soup

Bottom line? I am jumping with joy to be riding again. Happy 2020.

  1. Hi Will,

Just a quick big thank you for the blog! I know a lot of people in my circle visit and use it as an invaluable guide to the climbs all over Europe.

Get better soon and perhaps see you up Saleve one day! My local haunt too (from Annemasse).

    Thanks

    Paul

  2. Hi Will, i was hoping to perhaps have the chance to drop you a (hey Will, we are in Provence to bike Mont Ventoux) !! BUT! I think our trip will be cancelled because of the covid19. It’s just starting to hit us here in Canada, so we will most likely have a country lockdown very soon. Our trip was for May and great ambitions to ride all over the Provence region. Well, keep riding and posting, we most definitely love it. Let you know if we can travel and maybe have a chance to ride together. Cheers! Luc
