On a recovery day I try and keep my heart rate down using my Polar 720i Heart Rate Monitor. I know it’s pathetic but when someone passes me on a hill during a recovery day, I find it almost impossible to keep to a slower pace and let him pass. Today I was a little more mature than usual and let him go on by with a simple “Bonjour.”
