It’s been freezing, overcast, and seemingly always snowing. And I have been very good doing painful indoor trainer cycling workouts.
But when the sun was shining today, it was time to get outside and do some cross country skiing.
A near perfect day at the beautiful Plateau des Glières – tucked up in the north French Alps. This is one of my favourite places to winter cycle up high (see here and here for amazing snow climbs from each side) and I’ll do it soon hopefully this winter.

Looks like a great day! You were really flying on the descents AND the climbs – well done.
What a ride! Your cardio health has got to be tip top. That’s some serious training off the bike.
